diced onion

1/2 cup

diced tomatoes

1/2 cup

cumin seeds

1 teaspoon

coriander powder

1 teaspoon

turmeric powder

1/2 teaspoon

red chili powder

1/2 teaspoon

garam masala

1/2 teaspoon


1/4 teaspoon


2 tablespoons

Salt to taste



Step 1:

Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.

Step 2:

Add cumin seeds and asafoetida and let them sizzle for a few seconds.

Step 3:

Add onions and sauté until they are lightly browned.

Step 4:

Add potatoes and green beans and sauté for a few minutes.

Step 5:

Add tomatoes, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well.

Step 6:

Cover the pan and cook for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the potatoes and beans are cooked through.

Step 7:

Serve hot with chapatis or rice. Enjoy!
