Cut the potatoes and cauliflower into florets.
Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds.
When the seeds crackle, add chopped onions and sauté till golden brown.
Add the chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, salt and sauté till the masala cooks and oil separates.
Add the potato, cauliflower and a little water, mix well and cook covered until done.
Sprinkle garam masala and serve hot with chapati or naan or rice.
