cumin seeds

1 teaspoon

mustard seeds

1 teaspoon

turmeric powder

1 teaspoon

red chili powder

1 teaspoon

coriander powder

1 teaspoon

garam masala

1 teaspoon

Salt to taste

chopped cilantro

Step 1:

Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Step 2:

Add the cumin and mustard seeds and cook until they start to sizzle.

Step 3:

Add the potatoes and stir to coat with the oil and spices.

Step 4:

Reduce the heat to medium-low and cook, stirring occasionally, until the potatoes are golden brown and cooked through, about 10 minutes.

Step 5:

Add the turmeric, red chili powder, coriander powder, and garam masala and stir to combine.

Step 6:

Cook for another 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Step 7:

Add salt to taste and stir to combine.

Step 8:

Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve hot.
