Ingredients
  

  • 1/4 cup makhana (puffed lotus seeds/foxnuts)
  • low-fat milk
  • 3-4 dates chopped finely
  • 2 tbsp chopped almonds
  • 2 tbsp chopped pistachios
  • 1 tbsp green cardamom powder
  • 1/4 tbsp nutmeg powder

Instructions
 

  • Dry roast 1/4th cup makhana (puffed lotus seeds/foxnuts) in a pan for a few minutes. After that, grind it coursely using a blender.
  • Heat 1 litre of low-fat milk in a saucepan.
  • Stir in 3-4 finely chopped dates.
  • Pour in the coarsely crushed makhana.
  • Bring the low-fat milk to a boil for 5-7 minutes, stirring regularly.
  • To the milk, add 2 tbsp chopped almonds, 2 tbsp chopped pistachios, 1 tbsp green cardamom powder, and 1/4th tbsp nutmeg powder and continue to cook for a few minutes, stirring frequently, until creamy and somewhat thick.
