Immunity strengthening drink

This immune-boosting drink gives your body the nutrients it needs to be healthy and will also help you feel better about those occasional WFH cheat days. This recipe contains ginger, a spice that can transform the flavour of anything it comes into contact with. Especially in warm water early in the morning gives a nice boost to metabolism. Have a healthy slurp of a drink!

Servings 1 Cup

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tbsp Ginger grated
  • 2 Peppercorns
  • 1 inch stick Cinnamon
  • 2 Cloves
  • 1 Star anise
  • 1 crushed Cardamom pod
  • 1 tbsp Unpasteurised Honey
  • A handful of Tulsi leaves

Instructions
 

  • Bring 1 tbsp of grated ginger, 2 peppercorns, 1 inch cinnamon stick, 2 cloves, 1 star anise, and 1 crushed cradamom pod to a boil in a pan with a litre of water for 30 minutes.
  • For adding sweetness, serve this drink with a little honey and a handful of tulso leaves.
