Grilled tofu

"An amazing protein source for a plant-based diet is tofu. Despite having a low calorie count, it is a fantastic source of calcium and iron. Additionally, it contains a lot of isoflavones, which have been associated with lower incidences of cancer and heart disease.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Tofu, cubed
  • 1/4 cup Lemon Juice
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • Coriander Leaves
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1/4 tsp Cayenne Pepper
  • 2 tsp Chilli Powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Pepper Powder

Instructions
 

  • To make a marinade, combine 1/4 cup lemon juice, 1 tablespoon olive oil, 2 chopped garlic cloves, 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper, 2 teaspoons chilli powder, 1 teaspoon salt, and 1 teaspoon pepper powder.
  • Toss the tofu into the marinade
  • Cover and chill for 15 to 60 minutes.
  • Grill the tofu for 10 to 15 minutes into the grilling pan or, turning it occasionally, on a griddle that has been lightly greased.
