Consumption of Eggs

Egg yolks are high in vitamins A and D, biotin, iodine, and selenium. These elements activate the inactive thyroid hormones present in eggs that produce selenium essential for healthy hormone balance.

Consumption of Green Tea

Green tea is rich in theanine, a molecule that limits cortisol production in the body that regulates stress. Also, green tea contains antioxidants catechin and epigallocatechin gallate that balances the production of hormones in the body.

Avoid Smoking

The thyroid gland is adversely affected by smoking cigarettes in various ways. It causes stimulatory and inhibitory effects on the functioning of the thyroid which can cause chronic diseases.
