n general, it is defined as a condition in which the blood pressure exceeds 140/90 mm Hg. So, what are the symptoms of hypertension?

Breathlessness

Sudden difficulty in breathing accompanied by very fast and shallow inhaling.

Non-uniform heartbeat

Irregular heartbeat that is not in sync with its normal rhythm. It is either faster or slower than usual.

Confusion

The inability to think clearly, making decisions, cloudy thoughts and a feeling of disorientation.

Nose bleeding

Nosebleed is the loss of blood from the tissue that lines the inside of your nose. It is known as an early symptom of hypertension.

Pounding in the ears, neck or chest

A sudden blood pressure spike can cause this feeling of pulsating in the ear and chest.

Vision problems

Untreated high blood pressure can cause the risk of affecting one’s retina. It can damage blood vessels in the retina and is called hypertensive retinopathy.
