6 Healthy Salad for Weight Loss

Salads can be a delicious meal, eaten as a side or even a snack. The dynamic nature of salad has proved to be both nutritious and filling. Giving away the best salad recipes that are exceptionally easy, flavourful and best for weight loss.

Grapefruit, Apple, and Pomegranate Salad

Ingredients:  400 g of sliced, red grapefruit, 200 g of chopped apples, 43 g of pomegranate, ½ tbsp of chilli pepper, 1 tbsp fresh lime juice, ½ honey and 1 pinch of sea salt.

Egg Salad

Ingredients:  5 eggs, 43g of non-fat yoghurt, 2 tbsp of sumac, 2 chopped tomatoes, 1 chopped avocado, 1 chopped red onion, 1 tbsp of lime juice and a drizzle of olive oil.

Paneer, Peas, and Peanut Salad

Ingredients:  32 g of paneer, 20 g of boiled green peas, 2 tbsp of roasted and ground peanuts, 1 grated carrot, 1 chopped apple, 1 chopped cucumber, ½ tbsp of honey, ½  tsp of salt and pepper, 1 tsp of olive oil.

Spinach and Cabbage Salad

Ingredients:  250 g of spinach, 250 g of cabbage, 64 g of coiled corn, 1 grated beetroot, 16 g of chopped coriander, 32 g of mint leaves, 2 grated carrots, 2 tbsp of lime juice, 1 tbsp of chat masala and 1 tsp of salt.

Apple, Broccoli, and Red Cabbage Salad

Ingredients:  500 g of cooked chickpeas, 16 g of parsley, 1 whole lime juice and zest, 1 cooked beetroot, 2 tbsp mixed seeds, 1 sliced orange, 1 chopped garlic clove, 1 tbsp of olive oil, 1 tbsp water, ½ tsp of salt and pepper.
