Low Carb Dinner: Foods that You Can Eat

You’ve finally decided to try the low carb diet or you’re planning on giving it a try. Whatever you choose, here are some low-carb foods to help you stick to your goal.

Non-Vegetarian Foods

Many people believe that non-vegetarian foods contain a lot of carbs. However, in reality, the following meats have a low-carb and high-protein diet: pork (avoid bacon), chicken, turkey, veal, and bison.

Vegetables

Vegetables are popular because they are high in vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients. Meanwhile, many are also low in carbs and high in fibre, making them suitable for low-carb diets. 

Dairy Products

Vegan Foods

Although the vegan diet is similar to the vegetarian diet, it excludes dairy products. Some dairy products are high in carbs, but you can avoid them by eating tofu, avocado, walnuts, and pumpkin seeds.
