Choosing weight loss foods can be tricky if you do not understand calorie counting. You need to know which food is low in calories that can be added to the diet in order to lose weight. 

1. Paneer Tikka: One of everyone’s favourite Indian snacks served as starters. 1 serving (150 grams) of paneer tikka masala only has 223 calories. 

2. Baked Samosa: A healthier alternative of the popular Indian snack best when paired with chai. Baked samosas can be added to this list with 213 calories.  

3. Vegetable Biryani: A classic vegetable biryani prepared with loads of vegetables can be had to lose weight, if had in a smaller portion. A 250 gram serving of this is just 28 calories.  

4. Chana Masala: A delicious chickpea curry, either paired with rice or roti can be satiating and nutrient-rich. 1 small bowl of chana masala is 188 calories. 

5. Veggie Kebabs: Grilled vegetables pattie on tandoor with a hint of spice is a wonderful evening snack. 1 vegetable kebab contains just 90 calories.
