Sweet cherries originated in Asia Minor, a fertile region between the Black and Caspian Seas. What is most surprising is that they were brought to Europe by birds. Originally cultivated by the Greeks, the cherry’s production increased and expanded under the Romans. The cherry fruit works as both- food and medicine.

Parul holds a Masters of Medical Science in Public Health Nutrition from the University of Glasgow, Scotland, and has worked across the globe from the U.K to New Zealand (NZ) gaining her License with the Health Professionals Council (HPC, UK) and the NZ Nutrition Council.
